What is God’s Son’s name ? (Prov 30:4)
A Son is “Given” (Isaiah 9:6)
You are my Son (Psalm 2:6-12)
Know my Name (Psalm 91:14-16)
People know their God (Daniel 11:32)
Pre-existence as God (Micah 5:2)
Footnotes:
Above Point-1: In Proverbs 30:4 (What is His Name and What is His Son's Name?) implies that God has a Son. Again In above Point-2: Isaiah 9:6 (A child is born is Earthly) and (A Son is Given is Divine) and those 2 phrases are not synonymous. They are distinct in the roles performed by Lord Jesus.
Abraham (Genesis 22:18) - Seed
Isaac (Genesis 26:4) - Seed
Jacob (Genesis 28:14) - Seed
Judah “Scepter shall not...” (Gen 49:10)
David (Ruth 4) - Seed (v12)
Promise to David (2 Sam 7:11-16) - Seed
Stem of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1-5)
Keys of David (Isaiah 22:21-25)
The Branch (Zechariah 3:8 & 6:12)
Footnotes:
Jesus (Yeshua) as the “promised seed” (in Hebrew the word used is Zeh’-rah as in biological Offspring) from Gen 3:15. The key here is women naturally don't have "seed", they only produce "eggs". On the contrary Men do have "seed". Hence Genesis 3:15 is the first prophecy of the Birth of Lord Jesus via Virgin birth.
Stem of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1-5)
Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2)
Keys of David (Isaiah 22:21-25)
The Branch (Zechariah 3:8 & 6:12)
Entry on a Donkey (Zechariah 9:9)
His (Jesus) Mandate (Isaiah 61:1-3)
Closure of East Gate (Ezekiel 44:1-3)
Scepter shall not depart (Gen 49:10)
The Volume of the Book (Psalm 40:7)
Many Theological reasons (including famous Prophecy in Isaiah 7:14).
One less studied reason is to provide a way around the blood curse on Jeconiah. - Jeremiah 22:30
It becomes profoundly clear by comparing Genealogies in Matthew's account vs Luke's account in the Gospels.
Jesus having no gentical inheritance through Joseph (his earthly father) only inherits legal right to the David's throne through Solomon's kingship lineage..
In Luke's account we see Mary his bilogical mother carries blood line through David's other son "Nathan" and hence preserving the blood lineage.
